World at Play: Balkans 2011

Hi everyone,

I’m leaving this afternoon for London, and then I’ll be in Europe for the next two months volunteering with World at Play in Wales, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kosovo, and Serbia. Stay tuned for updates!

  1. Wow! Is this ever going to be a life-changing experience. I’m glad you’re putting it in writing, as one day you’re going to have one hell of a momoir to write. I would love to hear from you as you make this trek. You’re the perfect individual to do this, as nothing is lost on you. I am now in NC at the summer governor’s school program until July 23. It’s very exciting to be back after Fred denied my request last summer. Maggie Walker hasn’t changed much except for a new assistant administrator of curriculum, Dr. Wendy Ellis, who looks more promising than anyone I’ve seen in the main office since I’ve been there. Bon Voyage, be safe, and stay healthy. Look forward to hearing from you. Bear
